2011 YOUTH LEADER OF THE YEAR AWARD
On June 9th at the Hilton Memphis, Carnival Memphis will honor a local high school student with the:
Inaugural 2011 Youth Leader of the Year Award
Nominations are due at 11:59 PM on May 9th and ALL AREA HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS ARE ELIGIBLE!!!
To nominate a young adult who has had a huge impact in their community, simply complete the online form located here:
The candidate’s nomination form should reflect:
- The candidate’s emerging desire to helping others in the Memphis community
- The candidate’s emerging ability to lead and empower others to serve or take action
- Any outstanding personal acts of service demonstrating service to a non-profit, issue, community and/or neighborhood
- Reasoning to support why the candidate chose to serve or to lead (what was the motivating factor that propelled the candidate to take action)
Honorees will be announced on June 9th at the Hilton Memphis during the Community Service Awards and Fashion Show.
